ST JOHNS COLLEGE, PLUNKETT BUILDING, SYDNEY UNIVERSITY

The Plunkett Building has been refurbished from student accommodation to house the College’s accounts department. A courtyard has been enclosed to create a meeting room, offices & amenities. Fire separation between levels was necessary between the different uses. Sandstone cladding has been employed on blade walls like modern buttresses to help tie the building into its heritage context.
